EPDM

Gaskets made with EPDM rubbers are ozone and oxygen resistant, without the need to add antiozonant or antioxidant agents. In addition, they are able to withstand heat, water and steam up to 150° in both dry and humid environments. Also important are the mechanical and elastic features, properties which are maintained over time, resistant to numerous low molecular weight chemical products and polar solvents. On the other hand, the resistance to flame, hydrocarbon solvents and mineral oils is poor.

• Excellent resistance to ozone and oxygen
• Excellent resistance to high temperatures (150° C)
• Good resistance to low temperatures (- 45° C)
• Excellent dielectric properties
• High resistance to permanent deformation
• Good resistance to numerous low molecular weight chemical agents and polar solvents
• Resistance to flame, hydrocarbon solvents and mineral oils is poor
• Excellent water impermeability
